Methodology notes
Data from Quebec was not included in this table because of significant under-reporting of dialysis data between 2011 and 2019 and of transplant data between 2012 and 2023.
Year refers to calendar year.
The number of patients includes recipients of dialysis and pre-emptive transplant.
Patients with a missing diagnosis are classified as UNKNOWN.
Pre-emptive kidney transplantations are not performed in each province.
Data quality notes
CORR is a longitudinal database, following patients over time. Reporting centres may submit changes/updates for any particular year on an ongoing basis. As a result, data is subject to change and may differ from previously published reports.
