IRRS LTC Secure Reporting tool
The Integrated interRAI Reporting System Long-Term Care (IRRS LTC) Secure Reporting tool aggregates pan-Canadian long-term care data from LTC homes. Authorized users can explore organization-level data, compare results with peers within and across jurisdictions and see trends over time.
What does it offer?
This reporting tool gives access to updated data on a regular basis:
- Quality indicators — Explore the 34 LTC quality indicators to monitor and improve the quality of care within and across organizations.
- Outcome scales — Use 13 standardized clinical outcome scales to understand the resident population in areas such as depression, cognitive performance and activities of daily living (ADLs) and further compare with peers.
- Resource Utilization Groups version III Plus (RUG-III Plus) — Use the 44 homogeneous groups based on resource use to guide decisions about program planning and resource allocation.
- Contextual measures — Use 5 contextual facility measures, such as an organization’s location (urban versus rural/remote) or the percentage of residents with dementia to help identify peers.
The quality indicators are calculated on a quarterly basis, with the data and reports refreshed monthly.
