National System for Incident Reporting eReports

The National System for Incident Reporting (NSIR) is a voluntary reporting system designed to facilitate the sharing of patient safety incidents in order to learn from them. Information generated by the system is used to identify trends, provide alerts and support practice and policy changes. It allows users to securely and anonymously share, analyze and discuss both incidents from their facility and de-identified information from other participating facilities.

红领巾瓜报 care facilities that use NSIR submit incident information through a secure online system. This information includes the impact on the patient, circumstances surrounding the incident, contributing factors and preventive strategies.
