For us, it’s a data organization. We are actually well-suited to leverage from AI because AI lives on data and the more we use it, the better their quality of the outcomes are. And we can actually use AI from end to end to modernize our processes in terms of the data life cycle. And at the same time, how our users will be able to access the information in the reports we provide.

Fundamentally, as a data organization, our process has 3 big phases. 1 is the data ingestion. The second one is the data enrichment or processing. The third portion is the data reporting, or where our users come and receive the information we produce.

So, in this chain, the data life cycle process, AI could be leveraged significantly. From the ingestion side, in terms of the automation associated with reduction of the process it would take for the data to be taken in by CIHI. And the second piece is our own analytics work, which is a larger chunk including quality assurance that goes into it. AI could be leveraging that phase as well. And the last portion of our process where we report and share outcomes and charts, et cetera, that could actually leverage AI as well. Because we want to move from the current process of information being consumed through a drop-down list and a number of clicks to get to an outcome. We would like to actually move towards more what we see and people experience using Gen AI today in, like, ChatGPT, et cetera, platform.
