November 21, 2024 — Huntington disease (HD) is a rare inherited neurodegenerative disorder with physical, cognitive and psychiatric symptoms. This release examines adult HD in long-term care (LTC) and clinic settings, including drugs prescribed to LTC residents with HD. Learn about the demographics and health characteristics of LTC residents with HD, the top drugs prescribed to LTC residents with this disease and clinic visits for patients with HD. Findings are summarized with input from patient partners.
